Privacy policy

• Account: your name and email, and your Google profile picture if you sign in with Google.
• Your tests: the idea you describe, its category, price, market and stage, your quiz answers, and the reports written for you.
• Payments: the payment reference, amount, status and date. Not your card, UPI or bank details.
• Usage: how many tests you run and when, so usage limits work, plus basic server logs to fix errors.
• Feedback: what you write on the feedback page, and your email if you add it.

To run your tests and show your reports, keep your account secure, take payment and unlock reports, enforce fair-use limits, answer support requests, and improve Shelf Test. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

These services process data on our behalf, only for the purpose listed. Some of them store or process data outside India.

Writing the report from your idea and answers.

Searching the web for rivals, market data and rules, using your idea description.

Apify

Reading public Instagram and Reddit posts about your kind of product. Only search terms are sent, never your account details.

Razorpay

Taking payment. Razorpay handles your card, UPI or bank details; we only receive the payment status, amount and reference.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in from bots. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. Our host keeps simple visit counts that do not identify you.

Tests and reports stay until you delete them or your account. Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, even after an account is deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.

You can see your tests under My shelf and delete any of them there. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account and everything linked to it except payment records we must keep. To do any of this, email arnav.avi31@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.

Your tests can only be read by your account. Report content and payment records are read only by our server, never directly by the browser. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Shelf Test is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect children's data.
